This is a machine developed indigenously (patent applied) to produce charcoal from coconut shells continuously. It is a power driven set up. This machine is designed to recover the heat which is produced during the charcoal making process and use them for various heating or drying applications. The hot air from the machine can be utilized for drying and the flue gas from the machine can be utilized for heating or feed to the boiler for steam production or it can be fed again to heat exchanger to get hot air. The hot air recovered from this machine will be available at free of cost since the coconut shells fed in the machine are converted to charcoal which fetches a good rate in the market. Hence using the machine for drying any of the products listed below will give more return than the presently available heat exchangers. Coconut shell feeding and charcoal discharge systems are made mechanically to reduce the manpower needed thereby only 1 person is enough for a shift to look after both the feeding and discharge.
